    Dr. Hudesman is the co-director of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at NYU Langone Health in New York, NY. He is also an associate professor of the Department of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr Hudesman received his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and his fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, both in New York, NY. Dr Hudesman is board certified in internal medicine. Dr Hudesman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and in the provision of integrated, seamless, patient-centered care. His research is focused on the development of biomarkers and evaluation and optimization of new medical therapies for the treatment of both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.Dr Hudesman serves on the Research Committee and the Educational Affairs Committee of the American College of Gastroenterology and the Professional Education Committee of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation. Also, he is on the Medical Advisory Committee and Fellows Education Committee of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s NYC Chapter. Dr Hudesman is a reviewer for 5 scientific gastroenterology journals and has been published in many peer-reviewed publications, including Clinical Gastroenterology & Hepatology, Digestive Diseases & Sciences, and Current Gastroenterology Reports.
