Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to:

1) Describe and discredit current myths about Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) related to certain populations such as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian and the Ashkenazi Jewish population.

2) Leverage current case studies, research studies, and Crohn’s and Colitis resources to demonstrate the diversity of the IBD population.

3) Discuss evidence-based differences in treatment patterns for different IBD patient populations including Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Asian.

4) Identify differences in disease perception and self-management within IBD patient populations.
